I am deeply disappointed and horrified by the behavior of a shop assistant during my visit today. I went in to inquire about rings, and although I didn’t find anything suitable, I was shocked to hear the mature male assistant make homophobic and discriminatory comments about me, not once but twice, to another staff member as I was leaving.
It's upsetting to think that a charity shop, which should stand for compassion and community support, allows this kind of behavior. From reading other reviews, it seems this isn't an isolated incident, as he has reportedly been rude and offensive to other customers as well.
I will not be supporting this shop again, either by donating or purchasing items, and I strongly advise others to do the same. A charity's values should reflect kindness, and unfortunately, this shop falls far short.
